Dangerous D - 1

‘Dylan, come give mommy a hug, sweetie.’

The little boy hugged her, his small hands wrapped around her neck tightly.

‘Oh!’ Dana laughed as he surprised her with a small peck on her cheek. It was a lovely addition to their ritual morning hug. She had his snacks box and his picture book ready. The class was reading The Gingerbread Man today and Dylan loved stories. He had loved The Sleeping Beauty very much that he asked her to read it to him at bedtime, especially the part where the Prince kisses the enchanted princess to release her from her eternal slumber.

‘Good bye, Dylan. Have a good day at school, sweetie.’ A smile came unbidden to her lips as her son skipped into the kindergarten along with a bunch of other kids. A lot of other proud parents were returning to their vehicles anxious to get to work on time. She needed to get to work soon too. While her boss had allowed her a paid maternity leave and also allowed her to work the morning shift,  he was definitely not  going to cut her any slack for punching in late.

Dana pulled into the employees' parking lot
.
‘Hiya Jeff.’

'Mornin', gorgeous. You're on time for a change,’ the slightly balding, heavy set man in a cotton shirt and a dirty jeans was leaning on the wall beside the employee’s  entrance.

She smiled back at him. ‘Dylan didn't make a fuss with his breakfast, today.’

‘I'd make a fuss too if I had to give up sucking on those wonderful tits of yours’, Jeff said while unlocking the door and holding it open for her.

Dana laughed as she walked past him through the door into the building, ‘See you at lunch, Jeff.’

The morning shift was relaxed. Very few customers. The other ladies showed up to work in full make-up. Dana did too but that was before Dylan. So she went straight into the costume room to get ready while the others were lounging in the bar. She stripped down to her underwear with a few deft movements and proceeded to meticulously put her make-up on. One layer over another, slowly transforming her from the demure Dana into Dangerous D. Dana knew that it was not the make-up, not the blonde wig, not the skimpy dress and definitely not the cruel pencil heels that made her DD. It was the attitude.
She was just  finishing up with her make-up, dotting a small beauty spot just above her lips to draw attention away from her eyes, when she heard someone knock.

‘Dana?’ The deep brassy voice of David came from the other side.

‘Yeah, I'm done. Come in.’

David walked in, his silk suit shimmering in the brightly lit room. ‘Dana, I need a favour.’

She raised an eyebrow. What could a man who owned the most popular strip joint in the city ask of her? ‘What?’ She asked a bit tentatively.

‘I need you to be an escort. One night only’, he added quickly.

‘Oh, Dave, you promised.’

‘I know. I know. Just this once baby, please.’

‘But Dave, Dylan...’

‘You could hire a sitter. I'll pay you for that too.’

‘Have you asked Tess?’

‘Titsie Tess? No. She wouldn't do. It's gotta be you. Just once. Never again.’

‘Dave, I grateful for all that you did for and Dylan. But this is just...’
Dave didn't reply. ‘Why me?’ she asked him.

‘This client..er.. She asked for you, specifically.’

‘A She!’

‘Yes.’

‘Okay. Who's She?

‘My granddaughter.’

‘The little princess! What is she now, sixteen?’

‘Lynette's nineteen.’

‘Doesn't she have a boyfriend?’

‘No. But I do believe she's had a number of girl friends.’

‘But I'm not gay’, Dana protested.

‘Honestly, I don't even know what I'm doing. I should put a stop to this. But I can't do that. The next best thing is to give her someone with a level head.’

That definitely rules out Tess.
‘You know Dave, if she wanted to talk to someone I'm available.’

‘I know you are. But she Wanted you, as an Escort. And she stressed the word escort as if I could misunderstand that word.’

‘I need to think about this. Can I tell you after the show?’

‘Sure, anything. As long as you agree. And now, that done, why aren't you on stage yet?’ He barked at her.
